04 Jan Gluten Free Geelong – First EVER Young Ambassador!

I recently attended the Coeliac Victoria and Tasmania kids Christmas party which was held on 18th November. Here I got to meet lots of other children and families that support those with Coeliac Disease.

I got up early on the morning and made enough iced donuts for all the children attending and also extra filled donuts for others to try. I was lucky enough to be able to hand these out and see all the happy faces of those eating them – many for the first time since being diagnosed with Coeliac Disease.      I was also surprised with a very special presentation from Cathy Di Bella on behalf of Coeliac Victoria and Tasmania as their first ever ‘Young Ambassador.’ This is a role that I am very honoured to have been asked to undertake. One of my mane reasons for starting my business was so that I can educate others about the importance of foods being truly gluten free for coeliacs to safely enjoy.

I look forward to working with CVT in the future to help promote and educate others about Coeliac Disease.
